Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms apply to GTP – Guess the Plane (the "Service"), operated by GuessPlane ("we", "us"). When you use the Service, you are entering into an agreement with GuessPlane.
1. Acceptance
By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
GTP is an aircraft-recognition game. Everything in it is free: the Daily question, the Leaderboard and unlimited Practice mode.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- send spam or impersonate others, including through your username;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
- interfere with the Service's security, for example by spreading malware, probing for weaknesses, scraping, or cheating the game or its leaderboard;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.
5. Intellectual property
GuessPlane owns the Service and its software, design and branding. Aircraft photos come from Wikimedia Commons and remain the property of their authors under their respective licences. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service.
6. Availability
We work to keep GTP running well, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time. To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or create a security or fraud risk. You can stop using the Service at any time.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided free of charge and our liability to you is limited accordingly. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes go to the Swedish courts, unless the consumer protection laws of your country give you the right to use your local courts.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
